For Qlife e-bike assembly, start with the exact bike in your carton, not a video for a bike that looks close enough. Find its label, match it to the Qlife manual library, and keep the carton and hardware bags until the setup is checked. If a part is missing, an axle or washer arrangement is unclear, the steering does not track with the wheel, a brake behaves abnormally, or a cable is pulled tight, stop the assembly and do not ride. A photograph and a question to Qlife support will do more good than another turn of a wrench.

Find the manual for the bike you actually received
The manual library lists Racer Fat Tire and Racer Fat Tire 2.0 separately. It also lists Spark Plus and Triker 2.0 separately from other Spark and Triker models. Match the name on the bike and carton, your order configuration, and any revision or model label before opening a manual. The word "Racer" on its own isn't enough to select instructions. Nor should a Spark manual be used for Spark Plus just because the family name matches.
- Read the full model name on your order, carton, and bike label. Photograph the bike label for your own records.
- Note any version or revision identifier shown on the bike, manual, or hardware packaging. If the names differ, ask support which document applies before continuing.
- Open the matching entry in the manual library. Check the illustrated parts and required tools against what is actually in the carton. A product photo or another owner's video cannot settle a hardware mismatch.
Keep purchase details private. Send your order number and label photos through Qlife's support channel, not in a public comment thread.
Unbox once, record what you found
Lay out the supplied parts without forcing them together. Photograph the unopened or newly opened package if there is visible damage, then photograph the bike and each hardware bag before sorting small pieces. The table is a check card, not a substitute for the packing list in your exact manual.
| Check | What to record | Next move if uncertain |
|---|---|---|
| Bike identity | Full model name, version or revision, label photo, order configuration | Ask Qlife which manual matches the received bike. |
| Carton and contents | Carton condition, supplied components, any separate accessory package | Compare with the exact manual or an approved packing list before assembly. |
| Hardware bags | Bag labels and clear photos of all fasteners and washers while separated | Do not borrow an apparent match from another bag or another model. |
| Visible damage | Close and wide photos of the affected area, including packaging | Stop work on the affected area and contact support promptly. |
| Tools and instructions | Tools named in the matching manual and the step or drawing in question | Ask for the approved instruction if the illustration does not match your hardware. |
Qlife's warranty and replacement policy asks customers to inspect shipping damage promptly and provide clear photos or video. Read the current policy for its reporting terms rather than assuming the same process applies to every assembly question.
Model-specific checkpoints, not borrowed assembly steps
Racer Fat Tire or Racer Fat Tire 2.0
First choose the manual entry that matches the full Racer name and version. Before fitting or adjusting the front wheel, compare the supplied axle hardware and brake layout with that document. If the pictured hardware or cable routing differs, leave the wheel work to Qlife support or a qualified mechanic. I would not use an older Racer video to decide where an unfamiliar washer belongs. If a local shop declines the job, our shop service questions can help you ask another shop about that exact assembly work.
Spark Plus
Use the Spark Plus entry specifically. Keep the front-wheel hardware in its original grouping while you compare it with the matching document. If a washer, spacer, axle feature, or brake arrangement is not identifiable from your version's instructions, stop. The Spark family has multiple names in the library, and an answer for Spark or Spark D2 is not an answer for Spark Plus.
Triker 2.0
Choose Triker 2.0, not Triker or Triker Plus. The no-ride question here is especially plain: does the steering input correspond to the wheel's direction, with no unexplained play or binding? If the answer is no or unclear, don't try to discover the cause on a first ride. Ask Qlife or a qualified trike technician to check the assembly, wheels, and brakes against the exact version's instructions.
The stop-or-continue gate before a first ride
| What you observe | Decision |
|---|---|
| Correct model manual identified, supplied parts match, and each applicable manual check is completed | Continue only with the remaining checks in that manual. Have a qualified technician check work you cannot verify. |
| Missing or damaged part, unexplained hardware, or step that does not match the bike | Stop assembly and leave the bike parked. Preserve the parts and send the evidence packet below to support. |
| Steering misalignment or binding, abnormal brake action, loose or uncertain wheel, or cable under tension | Do not power up for a test ride or ride the bike. Ask support or a qualified technician to resolve and check it. |
Before any ride, use the exact manual's checks for wheels, steering, brakes, fasteners, cables, and power-on behavior. This article does not give torque values, axle order, or a universal assembly sequence because those belong to the instructions for the hardware in front of you. A short parking-lot spin cannot validate a wheel you were unsure how to secure.
Send a support request that can be answered
Include your purchase channel and order number privately, the full bike model and label photo, the manual entry you used, the affected step, a wide photo of the bike, close photos from both sides of the hardware, and a brief description of what does not match. Use the contact details on Qlife's contact page to send the packet privately, not in a public comment. Keep the original pieces and packaging until Qlife tells you what to do. The current policy explains how to submit proof of purchase and photos or video for a warranty review; it does not make a self-selected repair automatically authorized. If the question is a battery, controller, or display rather than missing assembly hardware, the Qlife part-request card shows what to document before choosing a replacement.
Bottom line: Match the exact manual, document the received hardware, and leave the bike parked whenever a safety-critical assembly point is unresolved. That is a much better first-day outcome than an uncertain first ride.
